Return of the Real, The

Three performances with camera and mirror focus on the minutiae of the everyday. Passers-by are caught in the mirror and on camera. The image contains the figurative person, the abstract reflection, the personal gaze of the 'performer' and also ourselves as we view the exotic other is the film-maker. These relationships unfold because the mirror raises the question: who is actually creating this image?
