A film illustration of texts by the American writer William Burroughs. "...the procedures it reflects dislocation of mood and subject matter, arbitrary conjunction, free association hark back to the 20s so the film itself often looks disturbingly like La Coquille et le Clergyman or early Man Ray. Its subject matter, as far as this can be deciphered, is typical of Burrough's work drugs, masturbation, physical violence, an SF colouring and it should make an acceptable introduction to the writer's work". Monthly Film Bulletin, August 1963.
